Fujisan World Heritage Center
The Fujisan World Heritage Center is where travelers can get information about Mount Fuji and the Fuji Five Lakes.
The South Hall provides a visual introduction to Mount Fuji through movies and a 15-meter wide model of Mount Fuji made of Washi paper. The North Hall features an information booth that provides information about climbing and weather conditions, as well as tourist attractions throughout the mountains and Yamanashi Prefecture in general.
In addition, the center offers tourist information about the nearby area and the prefecture. Enjoy a light meal at the observation restaurant and browse the shops.

Fuji Subaru Line 5th Station
Located at the halfway point of the Yoshida Trail, the Fuji Subaru Line 5th Station is situated at the beginning of the Yoshida Trail, which leads from the Fujiyoshida Sengen Shrine at the bottom of the mountain to the top of Mount Fuji.
The 4th station on Mount Fuji is the most popular, with the best development, and is more accessible via public transportation from Tokyo.
The Fuji Subaru Line 5th Station is accessible almost all year round, with the exception of snow conditions, and is a popular tourist spot even during non-climbing seasons.

If you're in the Fujiyoshida city of Yamanashi, it's worth trying Yoshida-Udon! The firm noodles make it easier to enjoy the flavors of the ingredients and soup stock when you chew them, and are topped with simmered horse meat and boiled cabbage that have a sweet and salty flavor.
Takekawa-Udon is a restaurant that offers Yoshida Udon. The noodles have a thick and chewy texture. The horse meat and cabbage in it are plentiful, and the more you chew it, the more the flavor spreads throughout your mouth. Even those who don't like it can eat it since it has no taste and a texture that resembles beef.

Lake Kawaguchi
Train and direct bus connections to Tokyo make it easy to reach Lake Kawaguchiko, one of the most accessible of the Fuji Five Lakes. Around the eastern end of the lake, there is a hot spring resort town with a diverse range of tourist attractions and views of Mount Fuji, but the northern and western shores are mostly undeveloped.
Mount Fuji can be viewed from the lake's northern shores, and the cherry blossom season and autumn colors around the first half of November are the best times to enjoy it.
