The most important thing to consider when booking a bus, a limo or a taxi is safety. Charter Bus & Limousine Japan has registered with the Land Infrastructure and Transportation Ministry and have been properly insured and licensed.
In Japan, it is obligatory for the service company to have an insurance with unlimited coverage in case of death or serious aftereffects of the passengers during a ride on a taxi,limousine,sedan or bus.
But the service company doesn't have the obligation to be insured against treatment costs or hospital charges. Generally,the service company has insurances in which clients will be reimbursed 3000-5000 yen per day as outpatient coverage, and 5000-10000yen per day as inpatient coverage respectively.
Therefore,you are advised to take out Overseas Travel Insurance before the travel if you still worry about the large medical treatment costs or hospital charges.
