Farm Tomita
Visitors can enjoy the beautiful flowers in the spacious park, which has many different kinds of flowers. Stores and cafes that sell lavender goods like potpourri and perfumes are available, so it's recommended to take a relaxing break while admiring the flowers.
The majority of lavender typically starts blooming in late June and peaks between mid-July and early August. Mid-August still sees the blooming of lesser, later flowering varieties of lavender.
Furano’s lavender fields have large numbers of visitors to the region at every summer when the plants are in full bloom.

Chevre is a restaurant that serves dishes made with fresh vegetables that have been harvested from various farms.
It's a small restaurant with a calm atmosphere where you can feel free to stop by. Its popular dishes include 'Sooty Ome Stew', made with slowly simmered beef from Tokachi, and the colorful 'Vegetable Bagna Cauda' (available only for a limited time), which is made with delicious and rare vegetables.

Biei Panorama Road
In Biei Town, the Panorama Road area extends to the south of the Patchwork Road. A 360-degree view of the surroundings can be enjoyed from many elevated plateaus on this popular tourist route.
Galleries, such as the 'Photo Gallery Takushinkan', exhibit the photographer who made the hill town of Biei famous all over Japan.

Takushinkan
The photo gallery Takushinkan was opened by Shinzo Maeda in 1987 and features his son Akira. In the 1970s, Shinzo Maeda was a well-respected landscape photographer who had his photos make Biei one of the top sightseeing spots in Hokkaido.
It's a 10-minute walk from JR Biei Station to this photo gallery, and admission is free.

Shikisai Hill
Shikisai Hill is one of the best places to enjoy flowers in the Biei area. From spring to fall, this fifteen-hectare garden's hills undulate with vivid color, making for a breathtaking sight.The blooming season, which runs from May to October, provides ample opportunities to visit.
During the year, there are nearly 30 different flower varieties that bloom, and each new season brings a different assortment of flowers.
Make sure you walk through the fields filled with flowers. After entering the parking lot, proceed through the building with shops and restaurants to the flower fields. No admission fee is required.
