Koishikawa Kourakuen Park
In Tokyo's heart lies Koishikawa Korakuen, a stunning Japanese garden. It is one of Tokyo's oldest landscape gardens, built in the early Edo period. The garden grounds have multiple walking trails, making it easy to spend an hour or more walking around.
It is also a popular place in the spring for the cherry blossoms, and visitors can be found crowding around a few weeping cherry trees near the entrance taking photos.

Asukayama Park
Asukayama Park is a park that is open to the public and situated near Oji station, in Kita ward located in the northwest of Tokyo. While foreign tourists usually choose the parks of Ueno or Yoyogi, Asukayama is a great alternative to enjoying the local festive atmosphere during the cherry blossom season at the start of spring.
Inside the park, walking paths unfold under the trees that transform into a corridor of white and pink petals during the Sakura blooming season. Japanese people come to practice ohanami, the cherry trees’ flower viewing and picnic, sometimes in large groups, in a laid-back and joyful atmosphere.

Unagi Irokawa is a long-established eel restaurant founded in 1861. It is located a little far from Kaminarimon and Hanayashiki. The sauce, which has been in use for over 150 years, is slightly sweet and complements the fluffy and tender eel perfectly.
We use firm and slender eel, so you can enjoy the perfect balance of juicy fat and meat. If you want to visit, it's best to arrive early since the restaurant closes when it runs out of eel.

Asakusa
Seeing the blooming cherry trees and TOKYO SKYTREE in the background is breathtaking as you walk along the riverbanks of the Sumida river.
